Privacy Policy
Effective July 16, 2026. How launchlotus.com handles your data.
1. The short version
Lotus never asks for your seed phrase or private key and never has access to them. We collect as little as possible: the off-chain profile details you choose to provide, and basic technical data needed to serve the site. Everything you do on-chain is public by the nature of the blockchain — that is true of any wallet on any chain, not something Lotus controls.
2. What we do not collect
We do not collect or store private keys, seed/recovery phrases, or wallet passwords — connecting a wallet uses standard signed messages, and signing a login challenge proves address ownership without exposing your key. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not ask for your name, government ID, or email in order to trade.
3. Off-chain data you provide
If you create a profile or a token, we store what you enter — such as a display handle, avatar or token image, description, website, and social links — so the interface can render your profile and token pages. This data is associated with your public wallet address. You can change or remove profile details; note that anything already written to the blockchain (for example, a created token) is permanent and outside our control.
4. On-chain data
Wallet addresses, balances, token creations, trades, transfers, fee claims, rewards, and airdrop claims are recorded on Robinhood Chain and are publicly visible to anyone. Lotus reads and indexes this public data to display holders, charts, statistics, and history. We cannot alter or delete on-chain records.
5. Technical and usage data
Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers process basic technical information — such as IP address, browser type, and request logs — to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems. We use this for operating and protecting the service, not to build advertising profiles of you.
6. Wallet and RPC connections
To show live data and submit transactions, your browser and wallet connect to blockchain RPC providers and, for wallet linking, to WalletConnect infrastructure. Those third parties may see your address and network requests under their own privacy practices. This is inherent to interacting with any on-chain application.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use local storage and similar mechanisms for essential functions — remembering your wallet connection, session, and interface preferences. We do not use them to track you across other websites.
8. Data retention and security
We keep off-chain profile data for as long as your profile exists and as needed to operate the service, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No online service is perfectly secure; you are responsible for the security of your own wallet and device.
9. Children
Lotus is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. Material updates will appear here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Lotus will never message you first asking for your seed phrase, private key, or a “wallet validation” signature to move funds. Anyone who does is trying to steal from you.
