Privacy Policy

Lotus never asks for your seed phrase or private key and never has access to them. We collect as little off-chain data as we can to run the site: optional profile and token metadata you submit, uploaded token images, and basic technical logs from hosting. Everything you do on Arc (addresses, balances, trades, creates) is public by design of the blockchain. That is true of any wallet on any chain—not something Lotus can turn off.

This policy covers the Lotus web interface at launchlotus.com and related API routes that power that interface. It does not govern Arc itself, Uniswap, Circle, WalletConnect, RPC providers, or other independent networks and apps you may use alongside Lotus. Smart contracts on Arc are public and immutable; they are not a “database” we operate.

We do not collect or store private keys, seed/recovery phrases, or wallet passwords. Connecting a wallet uses standard provider APIs and, where used, signed messages that prove address ownership without exposing your key. We do not sell personal data. We do not require your legal name, government ID, or email to browse the market or trade. If a third party asks you for those to “use Lotus,” treat it as a scam.

If you create a profile or launch a token, we may store what you enter so pages can render: display handle, bio, avatar, token name/symbol description, website and social links, and token artwork. Token images may be uploaded to object storage (for example Supabase Storage) and referenced by a public HTTPS URL that is also written on-chain as metadataURI. That URL and the associated content can be world-readable. Profile fields are associated with your public wallet address. You can change or remove editable off-chain profile fields where the product allows; on-chain token records and prior uploads may remain public permanently.

Wallet addresses, balances, token creations, trades, transfers, fee claims, rewards, bridge or gateway activity, and airdrop claims on Arc are recorded on a public ledger. Lotus and any indexer we run or rely on read this public data to show holders, charts, statistics, activity feeds, and portfolios. We cannot alter, hide, or delete confirmed on-chain records. Anyone else can index the same events.

Hosting, CDN, and application infrastructure (for example Vercel) process basic request metadata such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and URLs to deliver pages, rate-limit abuse, and debug outages. We use this to operate and protect the service, not to build advertising profiles or sell lists of users. Aggregated, non-identifying metrics may be used to understand product reliability.

To show balances and submit transactions, your browser and wallet talk to blockchain RPC endpoints (such as Arc / Blockdaemon RPC) and may use WalletConnect or similar relay infrastructure. Those parties can see your address and network requests under their own policies. Wallet extensions and mobile wallets are separate products you install; review their privacy notices. We do not control how your wallet vendor stores keys or telemetry.

We use local storage and similar browser storage for essential functions: remembering a recent wallet connection preference, session tokens for optional signed login where enabled, UI preferences, and client-only history (for example local gateway notes). We do not use third-party advertising cookies to track you across unrelated sites.

Infrastructure and storage providers may process data in the United States or other countries. If you access Lotus from elsewhere, you understand that public blockchain data and necessary operational logs may be processed outside your home jurisdiction.

We keep off-chain profile and media metadata for as long as needed to operate the product or until you remove it where the product supports deletion. Server logs are retained for a limited operational window. We take reasonable measures to protect off-chain systems. No online service is perfectly secure. You are responsible for the security of your wallet, device, and approvals.

You can disconnect your wallet in the interface, clear site storage in your browser, and stop using the hosted site at any time. Restricting the hosted UI does not erase Arc history. For questions about off-chain profile or media data associated with an address you control, contact us using the details in section 14. We may need a signed message from that address to verify the request.

Lotus is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material updates will appear here with a new effective date. Continued use of the hosted interface after an update means you accept the revised policy. On-chain publicity of past activity does not change when this document changes.
